Dún Laoi Fund Open for Applications
07 May 2013 | In NewsThe Dún Laoi Fund is open for Applications from 6th May, 2013 to 7th June, 2013. Irish language schools in Cork City and County only, especially Gaelscoileanna, are invited to apply for once off financial support for the benefit and good of promoting the Irish language in those schools.

Notice April 24th-Older Peoples Fund
26 April 2013 | In NewsThe Community Foundation for Ireland is pleased to announce the creation of a new long term philanthropic fund to support older people in Ireland, with welcome investment from The Atlantic Philanthropies. The Fund will be geared towards the promotion of civic engagement at local level and builds on The Community Foundation’s long standing engagement and commitment to supporting older people in their communities. The Fund will operate as a ring fenced endowment which on current rates of return would generate approximately €150,000 to €200,000 per annum in grant support. The Fund will start operations with an initial €3m investment provided by the Community Foundation (€1m) and the Atlantic Philanthropies (€2m). CFI is targeting an additional €1m to be raised and allocated to the fund between now and 2018, as well as ongoing fund development in the longer term.

The website, a collaboration between a number of not for profit organisations and IBM Ireland, provides an easy to use index of popular Irish sites, such as newspapers, online banking and TV channels to make them easier to access.
OLC Ireland Trust Fund is open for applications
18 April 2013 | In NewsSmall grants are available to charities and community groups working with vulnerable women. Applications are invited for specfic projects which work with women tackling addictions, prostitution and trafficking, violence and abuse. The goal of the fund is to provide resources which will help educate, develop and enhance the lives and dignity of marginalised women.
